Before you share
PassShare is a free convenience tool for sending short-lived secrets, think a Wi-Fi password or a one-off login, without pasting them into an email or chat thread where they can linger indefinitely. It is not a password manager: don't use it to store or back up credentials.
- Only send the link to the person you intend to receive it, over a channel you both trust. A link posted somewhere public is no more private than the secret itself.
- Once a link is opened, or its expiry time passes, the secret is permanently gone. There is no way for us to recover it, so make sure the recipient is ready to open it.
- For your most sensitive credentials, confirm receipt with the recipient another way (a call or a known chat). We can't see or control what happens after their browser decrypts it.
